Hydrofera Blue Classic Antibacterial Foam Dressing provides a protective antibacterial cover that inhibits the growth of microorganisms. It is made by binding two organic pigments methylene blue and gentian violet in open-celled polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) that work to help bind bacteria and harmful endotoxins to the dressings. The micro pore structure of PVA foam rapidly wicks excess moisture away from wound. Successful wound management requires management of bioburden, maintaining moisture balance and removal of devitalized tissue. Hydrofera Blue Classic dressings can help all of these in a single dressing

Hydrofera Blue Classic Antibacterial Dressing Highlights:

  • Broad-spectrum antibacterial protection
  • Rapid wicking and exudate retention
  • Autolytic debridement
  • Edge effect
