Hydrofera Blue Ready Antibacterial Foam Dressing contains antibacterial properties that prevent infection. This ready to use dressing has a waterproof back that provides a barrier to moisture and bacteria. Broad-spectrum antibacterial protection provided by two organic pigments, methylene blue and gentian violet in open-celled polyurethane foam (PU).

Hydrofera Blue Ready Foam Dressing should be used when:

  • Absorption of moderate to heavy levels of exudate is required
  • Compression therapy is needed
  • Total contact casting is needed

 

Hydrofera Blue Ready Wound Dressing Application Procedure:

  • Simply place and secure; no hydration required
  • Secondary dressing not required
  • Tape or wrap required for fixation

 

Hydrofera_blue_ready_application Cleanse the wound bed in accordance with established procedures.
Select the appropriate dressing size to ensure the dressing will cover the entire wound. Apply with the foam side towards the wound, and the shiny side with the thin film up Hydrofera_blue_ready_application
Hydrofera_blue_ready_application Secure the dressing using a bandage or tape. Hydrofera Blue Ready foam can be used in conjunction with compression wraps and total contact casting.
